Engy Khaled joined the undergraduate program of Biotechnology / Biomolecular Chemistry at the Faculty of Science from Cairo University and graduated with Excellent honors. During a 4-year journey, she was a student researcher at two labs, Neurophysiology which studies the basic wet-lab techniques and concepts of Neurophysiology, and Bioinorganic and organometallic lab in her graduation project as a graduation project student and research intern. Finally, the 4-year journey ended by winning a silver medal at iGEM Competition (Internationally Genetic Engineering Machine) with the CU_Egypt team from Cairo University. She is now seeking to complete her academic career in her fields of interest as a researcher in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, and Neuroscience. Currently, she managed to get a Master's scholarship at Nile University.
